There is a rule for exponents.

I have added a picture of all the exponent rules, and hope it helps you with the other problems.

The exponent of 2 will multiply with the exponents inside the parenthesis.

So, the exponent 4 will multiply with 2.

4 x 2=8

The exponent 3 will multiply with 2.

3 x 2=6

Final answer

x^8y^6
