The mean of the data set is 6
Explanation: to find the mean (average) of a data set you add up all of the numbers and then divide by how many are present.
7+9+5+4+3+6+8=42
Since there are 7 numbers present we divide our answer by 7.
42/7 = 6
So the mean of the data set is 6
