A constant term is a number in an algebraic expression or equation.

A constant doesn't have any variables next to it.

For example, in the equation

4x²-2x=24, 24 is the constant.

A constant term is the whole number in an expression!

They are always easy to identify

5x + 14 ....

14 is the constant term!

80y - 2

-2 is the constant term!

I hope I helped :)
