Droplet transmission is when germs travel inside droplets that are coughed or sneezed from a sick person enters the eyes, nose, or mouth of another person. Both can contaminate someone when it gets in a persons eyes, nose, or mouth. But only droplets stick to surfaces and can infect someone who touches the same surface.
