Answer:

Explanation:

Given that,

A regular heptagon, a heptagon has 7 sides and since it is a regular heptagon, then, it has equal sides

n = 7, number of sides

Each sides of the heptagon has a length of 13.9

s= 13.9

The apothem is 14.4

Apothem is a line from the centre of a regular polygon at right angles to any of its sides.

r = 14.4

The area of a regular heptagon can be calculated using

Area = ½ n•s•r

Where n is the number of sides

s- is the length of the sides

r Is the apothem

Then,

A = ½ × 7 × 13.9 × 14.4

A = 700.56 square units

To the nearest whole number, I.e no decimal points

A = 701 Square units
