Explanation:

Multiplying out

X^2 - 2x - 3x +6 = 2

X^2 - 5x +4 = 0

Factoring:

X^2 - 4x - X +4

X(x-4) - 1(x-4)

(x-1)(x-4)=0

X= 1, 4
