Cars produce Carbon Emission, which is harmful toward the environment.

It gets trapped in the ozone layer contributing to global warming. When you get a bike, this doesn't happen.

Bicycles use less fossil fuels and oils, which are nonrenewable (there is a limited supply) resources. So, that will make us run out slower. It will also contribute to global warming less.

Cars also, since they use oil, sometimes get the oil in lakes, rivers, and streams. This can kill fish populations and other aquatic life.

The final benefit is that less roads will be made. When streets and roads are made, that tears down trees and wildlife ecosystems.
