Please someone help! You have to make this word problem into an inequality.

A theater charges $9.50 for each ticket. The theater had already made $50.00 towards the show. Write and solve an inequality that represents the number of tickets they need to sell to earn least $1000 for the show.

Answer:

the theater needs to sell at least 100 tickets

Explanation:

wants to make at least $1000 and they already have $50, so you take the $9.50 per ticket and add that to the $50.

$1000=$9.50t+$50

1000/50=9.5t

950=9.5t

950/9.5=t

t=100
