It doesn’t make sense to give someone 1000 dollars and then give another person 500 dollars but the guy who got 500 dollars did more things than the guy who got 1000 dollars did nothing important which is not fair since they aren’t getting paid for how much they work

Because some people can have tons of money and not struggle to pay anything while others may be struggling to pay anything, they believe that the rich should pay higher taxes so people with less money can live comfortably.
