Now we can find the area of the rectangle and the triangle

Rectangle:

lw=area

12*4=48m^2

Triangle

The height of the triangle is 6 because the length of the square is 4 and the total length is 10

10-4=6

So,

lw/2=area of triangle

12*6

------ --> 72/2 ---> 36m^2
