Answer: y = 1/4x + 3

Explanation:

-First determine the slope of the line. The formula for determining the slope is
m=(y2 - y1)/(x2-x1) where
m is the slope and the x and y terms are for the points
(x1, y1) and
( x2, y2)

-So, for this problem the slope is:

m = (3-2)/(0+4)

m = (1)/(4)

-Then, use the point-slope formula:

y-y1=m(x-x1)

-Substituting one of our points gives:

y-2=(1)/(4) (x+4)

y-2=(1)/(4)x +1

-Solving for
y to put it in standard form:

y-2+2=(1)/(4)x +1 +2

y + 0 = (1)/(4)x +3

- Result:

y=(1)/(4)x +3
