Let r represent cost of each rose bush and i represent cost of each ivy.

We have been given that Michelle spent $104 on two rosebushes and seven parts of Ivy. We can represent this information in an equation as:

2r+7i=104...(1)

We are also told that Danielle spend 68 on two rosebushes and four pots of Ivy. We can represent this information in an equation as:

2r+4i=68...(2)

Upon subtracting equation (2) from equation (1), we will get:

2r-2r+7i-4i=104-68

3i=36

(3i)/(3)=(36)/(3)

i=12

Therefore, cost of each pot of ivy is $12.

Upon substituting
i=12 in equation (1), we will get:

2r+7(12)=104

2r+84=104

2r+84-84=104-84

2r=20

(2r)/(2)=(20)/(2)

r=10

Therefore, cost of each rose bush is $10.
