This confuses me. Find the table values for y=x^3+x^2-6x-example-1

You have to plug in the x values into the equation. For example, if you’re looking for the y value of -3, plug -3 in for x (y = (-3)^3 + (-3)^2 - 6(-3)) which equals 0.
