why -3[2 + (-2)] = 0.​

-3[2 + (-2)] = 0.​

-3(0) = 0

0 = 0

Explanation:

Using PEMDAS, which is used to determine what to do first in a math equation. Starting with P you do everything that's in parenthesis and bracket first which is the [2 + (-2)]. Doing this problem first we get (2 - 2) which equals 0 and 0 multiply by any number gets you 0. So what you have left after doing (2-2). You will end up with -3(0) = 0. As mentioned above any real number multipled by 0 just becomes 0.
