The solution for to the system of the equations would be where the two lines intersect. This is because two equations, assuming they are not parallel, will only intersect in one place. This intersection is the solution to both equations and if you plugged in the x and y coordinates to both of the equations, you would find this to be true.

For this problem, the solution to the system of equations is (3,2).
