Explanation:

Use y = mx + b to write an equation. The y-intercept is zero. This is where the line crosses the y -axis, kind of the "starting point" So in the equation the b is a zero.

You can grab a couple points from the line to do a calculation for slope. BUT, you can actually SEE the slope on this line and save yourself the calculation. Starting from zero, see that you go UP 2 and OVER 1 to get to the next point. UP2OVER1 gets you to the next point and the next point. UP2OVER1 is the slope 2/1, which is 2, which is the m in the equation.

y = 2/1 x + 0

y = 2x + 0

y = 2x

**in case you have to show a calc for slope. Grab two points and do y-y, put that on top and then x-x and put that on the bottom.**
