Answer:

67 ½ units³ or 135/2 units³

Explanation:

Volume = Base area × height

In case:

width is 6 the height is 4 1/2 and the length is 2 1/2

2 ½ = 5/2

4 ½ = 9/2

Volume = (6 × 5/2) × 9/2

= 15 × 9/2

= 135/2

= 67 ½ units³

We can use the volume formula for a cube/rectangular prism to solve.

V = w * h * l

Turn all the fractions into improper fractions and find common denominators.

4 1/2 = 9/2

2 1/2 = 5/2

6 = 12/2

Multiply.

9/2 * 5/2 * 12/2

45/4 * 12/2

540/8

67 1/2

We can write the answer in 3 ways if necessary.

67 1/2, 135/2, or 67.5

Best of Luck!
