i multiplied both sides by 2

because

1cm = 2m so 2 divided by 1 is 2

2.5 times 2 is 5m

3.5 times 2 is 7m

actual area is

5 times 7 which is =

35m^2

Explanation:

The length is 3.5 cm

Since teh scale is 1 cm = 2m

3.5 cm = 2(3.5) m

3.5 cm = 7 m

Therefore our answer is 7m
