Find the quadratic equation

\\ \rm\Rrightarrow y=x(x-10)-2(x-10)


\\ \rm\Rrightarrow y=x^2-10x-2x+20


\\ \rm\Rrightarrow y=x^2-12x+20

Convert to vertex form of parabola

  • y=a(x-h)²+k


\\ \rm\Rrightarrow y=x^2-2(6x)+20+16-16


\\ \rm\Rrightarrow y=x^2-2(6x)+36-16


\\ \rm\Rrightarrow y=(x-6)^2-16

  • Vertex(h,k)=(6,-16)
