3x - 4y = - 29

and 6x + 5y = - 32

3x - 4y = - 29 (1)

6x + 5y = -32 (2)

equation (1) x 2

6x-8y = -58

equation (2) × 1

6x + 5y = - 32

Substracting → - 13y = -26

13y = 26.

26/ 13 ⇒ y =

⇒ yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy = 2

Putting y = 2 in equation (1), we have

3x - 4(2) = - 20

→ 3x = -29 +8

→3x = -21

→ X = -7

x = - 7
