This is algebra pretending to be geometry. The perimeter is the sum of the sides; geometry over.

a+b+c = 24

c = a+4

a = (3/4) b

We just substitute into the first equations,

(3/4) b + b + a + 4 = 24

(3/4) b + b + (3/4) b + 4 = 24

(5/2) b = 20

b = 8

a = (3/4)b = 6

c = a+4=10

check: 6+8+10=24, good

Answer: Sides 6,8,10

That's a right triangle.
