The subtraction function

(k-x)(x)

is defined as the subtraction of the two equations, representing each function:

(k-h)(x)=k(x)-h(x)

So, we have

(k-h)(x)=k(x)-h(x)=14x-2-(2x^3+4x-8)=-2x^3+10x+6
