and the perpendicular distance
between its parallel sides is 5 cm. If the length of one of its parallel sides is

45 = ½(6 + x) × 5

6 + x = 18

x = 12

Answer:

area of trapezium =1/2×sum of parallel lines ×height

45=1/2×(AB+6)×5

90=5AB+30

60/5=AB

AB=12
