Sweaters cost $39 each. This is $15 more than the price of a cap. Over the season, 725 caps were sold. What was the total sales of caps?

The price of a cap is 15 less than the sweater:

39-15 = $24

Multiply the price of a cap by amount sold:

725 x 24 = $17,400
