Directions: Research four animals and/or insects native to your area that pose a threat of bite or sting. Create a presentation warning of the danger and what should be done. Your presentation can be created as a PowerPoint, flashcards, posters, or a brochure. Make sure it is well organized and easy to read.

You will provide the following information for each of the four animals or insects you research.
• What is the animal or insect’s name?
• Where does it make its home?
• If bitten or stung, what is the best method of treatment?
• What signs or symptoms should you watch for to know if medical care is necessary?
• What other information is relevant to this type of injury?
• Include a photo or description of the animal/insect and its bite/sting.
You will be graded on how well you cover the information (5 points each) and the organization of your presentation (5 points).
