Would the function y=6/x have the same domain and range as y=8/x or y=12/x

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

The domain (the possible values of x) is All Real x , x not = 0.

x = 0 is excluded because 6/0 , 8/0 and 12/0 are not defined.

The range is All Real f(x), f(x) not = 0.

f(x) = 0 is excluded because 6 / ∞ and 6 / -∞ will never = 0. ( Similarly for 8/x and 12/x.
