A+B+C=180° (Sum of angles in a triangle)

A+44°+119°=180

A+163°=180°

A=17°

Using Sine Rule

a/Sin A=c/Sin C

Subtitute the value of A, c and C into the formula

a/Sin 17°=15/Sin 119°

Cross Multiply

a=15Sin17°/Sin119°

a=5.01 (2 d.p)
