Answer: To find the roots of a Rational Expression we only need to find the the roots of the top polynomial, so long as the Rational Expression is in "Lowest Terms". Lowest Terms means when the top and bottom of a fraction have no common factors.

Answer:

√36 = 6

³√ 5 = 5 ^ ⅓

⁴√ 16 = 16 ^ ¼

= 2

Explanation:

Mathematically, the square of a number, is the power of 2 to the base of that number, or the exponent 2 to the base of that number.

Such as :

The Square of 5.

=5²

= 5*5 = 25.

In thesame vain, the SQUARE of a number is to the power 2 of that number.

Hence, the SQUARE ROOT, of any number is the ROOT 2 , to that number. Such that:

Square roots of 5:

√5

= 5 ^½

√12

= 12 ^ ½

√36

= 36 ^ ½

= 6

For other expression other than 2, the rational expression will be a function of the value before the root.

Such that:

1. ³√5 = 5 ^ ⅓

2. ³√ 12 = 12 ^ ⅓

3. ³√8 = 8 ^ ⅓ = 2

4. ⁴√ 16 = 16 ^ ¼ = 2

5. ⁴√24 = 24 ^ ¼

The other goes on and on in that order
