y = 2x - 3

(-1, 1)

-1 = x

1 = y

plug these into your equation.

1 = 2(-1) - 3.

Simplify the right side of the equation

1 = -5.

1 does not equal -5, therefore, your equation does not go through those points.

Your answer should be False
