to find circumference you do C=D times pi if you are given the radius then you double the radius to get the diameter and do the equation

Answer:

C≈53.4 units

C≈28.3 units

C=20.4 units

C=75.4 units

Solution:

  • Circumference of a circle:
  • C=πd
  • Or
  • C=2πr
  • where
  • π=3.14...
  • d=diameter
  • r=radius
  • Plug in the values:
  • C=2π(8.5)
  • C=17π
  • C≈53.4 (match "radius=8.5 units" to "53.4 units")
  • C=π(9)
  • C≈28.3 units (match "diameter=9 units" to "28.3 units")
  • C=π(6.5)
  • C=20.4 units (match "diameter=6.5 units to "20.4 units")
  • C=2πr
  • C=2π(12)
  • C=24π
  • C=75.4 units (match "radius=12 units" to "75.4")

Hope it helps.
