\sf\large\underline{\star Given:-}

\rightarrow Measure of its each edge =
\sf\red{8feet.}

\rightarrow Height of each lateral surface (or slant height) =
\sf\red{15feet.}

\sf\large\underline{\star To\: Find:-}

  • Surface area of the given square pyramid.

\sf\large\underline{\star Formula \:Used:-}

\rightarrow Surface Area of square pyramid =
\sf\blue{a^2+2al}

Where,

\sf\pink{a^2}
\sf{=\: Area \: of\: base.}

\sf\pink{a}
\sf{=\: Side \:of \:the\: base.}

\sf\pink{l}
\sf{=\: Slant \:height}

\sf\large\underline{\star Solution:-}

\rightarrow Surface Area of square pyramid =
\sf{a^2+2al}(putting the value of
\sf{a^2}, a and l)

\rightarrow
\sf{=\: 8^2+2(8×15)}

\rightarrow
\sf{=\: 304feet^2}

Therefore, surface area of the given square pyramid
\sf\purple{=\: 304feet^2.}
