Fish is obtained by two ways i.e., Capture Fishery and Cultural fishery.

Capture Fishery:

• The fish are captured from natural water bodies,
• For Example: seas, rivers, estuaries, etc.

Cultural Fishery:

• Fish are reared in artificial farms and grown in market table size and then captured.
• This is also known as farming.
