2x+4y=1 /*3

3x-5y=7 /*(-2)

6x+12y=3

-6x+10y=-14

/ 22y=-11

y= -11/22

y= -1/2

2x+4*(-1/2)=1

2x-2=1

+2 +2

2x=3

x=3/2

so the solutionis (x,y)=(3/2, -1/2)
