Answer:

x = 6.5

Explanation:

Since this is a right triangle we can use trig functions

cos theta = adjacent side / hypotenuse

cos 23 = 6/x

x cos 23 / 6

x = 6 /cos 23

x=6.51816

Rounding to the nearest tenth

x = 6.5
