A triangle has coordinates f(-2,3),g(-4,1),and h(-2,-2). The triangle is translated and it’s image has coordinates f(0,0),g(-2,-2),and h(0,-5). What is the correct rule for the translation

Answer:

if (x',y') is image of (x,y) then

x'=x+2

y'=y-3

Explanation:

0-(-2)=2

so x'=x+2

0-3=-3

y'=y-3

let we check on h

x'=-2+2=0

y'=-2-3=-5

so h' is (0,-5) which is true.
