$\\ \sf\longmapsto (1)/(x)+(1)/(2x+3)=(1)/(3.5)$

$\\ \sf\longmapsto (2x+1+x)/(2x^2+x)=(1)/(3.5)$

$\\ \sf\longmapsto (3x+1)/(2x^2+x)=(1)/(3.5)$

$\\ \sf\longmapsto 3.5(3x+1)=2x^2+x$

$\\ \sf\longmapsto 11.5x+3.5=2x^2+x$

$\\ \sf\longmapsto 2x^2-9.5x-3.5=0$
