Molly needs 384 quarts of paint.

Explanation:

Given,

The height(h) of the wall = 8 ft

Length(l) = 12 ft

To find the amount of paint is needed we need to find the area of the wall first.

Formula

Area of the wall = h×l

Now,

Area of the wall = 12×8 sq ft = 96 sq ft

Now,

To paint 1 sq ft 4 quarts of paint is needed.

To paint 96 sq ft the amount of paint will be = 96×4 quart

= 384 quarts

So,

Molly needs 384 quarts of paint.
