Here we have ,
y = (8,2,0.50,0.125) which is basically a GP( Geometric Progression ) with a common factor of r :


2 = 8(r)


(2)/(8) = (8(r))/(8)


(2)/(8) = r


r=(1)/(4)

So , values of y have a common factor of
r=(1)/(4) .

Values of x

Here we have ,
x = (3,2,1,-1) which shows that values are not at regular intervals .
