Green is just as likely as blue to appear, but not as likely as red, is a true statement.

Answer: Option B.

Explanation:

• From the above mentioned information, we get to know that the program was used 45 times in the same computer in a week.

• Blue background appeared 12 times, whereas red background appeared 21 times.

• So if we add 12 and 21 then we will get 33. (12+21=33)

• The program was used 45 times, so out of 45, 33 times were used by red and blue background. So to get to know the number of times program used by green background, we will have subtract to 33 from 45, and we will get 12. (45-33=12)

• So the green background appeared 12 times just like the blue one.

Hence, Green is just as likely as blue to appear, but not as likely as red.
