Answer:

7 times

Explanation:

From the question above, sabrina has a box that contains 11 gloves(5 right handed and 6 left handed) and she decides to remove a glove from there hoping that she picks at least picks a right handed one.

The task now is to say how many times that she has to dip her hand in the box and eventually pick up a right handed glove.

In order to be completely sure as to pick a right handed glove, the number of left handed glove present in the box has to be eliminated/exhausted.

So since there area total of 6 left handed, 6 attempts at the box will have to be made and to be sure that there isn't any more of them left I'm the box and the following dip into the box will certainly yield a right handed box,so the answer 7

Answer:

7 times

Explanation:

In this question, we are asked that in a box containing a number of 2 different kinds of gloves, how many times must a person remove gloves from the box in other to be sure she has removed a particular type of glove.

Now, let’s walk through this.

There are 5 right handed and 6 left handed gloves. Now, the number of times she makes a removal to be sure she has now removed a right handed glove would be 7 times.

This is because there are 6 left handed left gloves. If even at random, she repeatedly removes left handed gloves, they would be exhausted on the 6th trial since they are six in number. Then on the 7th trial, we can be sure that what we have left in the box are just left handed gloves.

So any withdrawal or removal she is to make at this particular point in time would only be that for left handed gloves only
