I need to find the angle of a sector of a circle when the arc length is 9pi/8 and the radius is 4.5, please help me!!

The angle of a sector of a circle is or
0.25 \pi or 0.785 radians

Solution:

The arc length when angle in radians is given by formula:


s = r * \theta

Where,

r is the radius

From given,


r = 4.5\\\\s = (9 \pi )/(8)

Substituting the values we get,


(9 \pi )/(8) = 4.5 * \theta\\\\\theta = (9 \pi )/(8 * 4.5)\\\\\theta = 0.25 \pi

Thus angle of a sector of a circle is or
0.25 \pi or 0.785 radians
