Answer:

The surface area of a prism is the sum of the areas of the 6 faces. That will be

the 2 squares and the other 4 rectangles.

S=2*(b*h)+4(B*H)

b and h are base and height of the squares and B and H of the Rectangles.

b=2

h=2

B=5

H=2

so

S=2*(2*2)+4(2*5)=8+40=48
