cos x° = sin(90 - x)°

Given

cos(x + 30)° = sin x°, then

x + 30 = 90 - x ( add x to both sides )

2x + 30 = 90 ( subtract 30 from both sides )

2x = 60 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 30
