4/5 of my cake is frosted. My cat licked off 1/7 of the frosting. How much of my frosting is left?

If the cat licked 1/7 of the frosting, it means that 6/7 of the frosting is still there. But only 4/5 of the cake was frosted.

So, the remaining frosted cake is 6/7 of 4/5. In formulas, we have to multiply the fractions:

(6)/(7)\cdot(4)/(5)=(24)/(35)
