Answer:

4x3/5 = 12x1/5

4x3=12 denominator stays the same

3/(5)=1/5 -A unit fraction always has 1 as numerator and natural number as denominator so after we multiply 4x3 we don't multiply denominator and we get 12 so we make it 12x1/5 and get 12/5, Extra answer: And make it into a proper fraction which is 2-2/5 now 12/5 is a proper fraction because we make it into 2-2/5. So all of this together explains why 4 x 3/5 equals to 12 x 1/5.

(4)*(3/5)=(12)*(1/5)

Explanation:

Step 1:

Let us consider the given expression
(4)*(3/5)=(12)*(1/5)

On Right Hand Side of equation,

4*(3/5)

Using BODMAS rule, we could get 2.4 as value.

Step 2:

Now let us consider the Left Hand Side of equation and solve it

12* (1/5) which will be equal to 2.4.
