What is the meaning of the figurative language "a lump as big as a pin" in the excerpt?
It's invisible.
It's hardly noticeable.

It is hardly noticeable

This is true because having a 'lump as big as a pin' would mean you would have a very small and tiny bump - so small and tiny it would be hardly noticeable.
