So basically it already shows you what x is

First set up the equation and simplify

g (-4) = -2 * (-4) - 1

(+4)

g (-4) = 8 -1

8 - 1 = 7

G (-4) = 7

And with this you can set a point on a graph

Using the y-intercept of

(-4 ,7)
