One x-intercept for a parabola is at the point

(11,0). Use the quadratic formula to find the
other x-intercept for the parabola defined by
this equation:
y=x2 – 10x – 11
Separate the values with a comma. Round, if
necessary, to the nearest hundredth.

Answer:

(-1,0)

Explanation:

the equation y = x2 - 10x - 11 = (x-11) (x+1)

Zeroes are at 11 and -1.

(11,0) and (-1,0)

Separation of a quadratic can be solved by finding 2 values that add to the middle number and multiply into the last number. you can also use the intersection tool on a graphing calculator.
