What would be the right answer since im stupid

I say:
A tetrahedron is a pyramid with a *triangular* base

She says: A tetrahedron is a pyramid with a *triangle* base



and also (since im stupid again) would it be right if I said The coordinate plane is divided into four *quadrant*

cuz I think it would be better if I added an s

So the first one, you would be right. It's a triangular base.

The second one, you should say quadrants.
