For each pair of points, find the slope of the line that passes through the points.

(5, 4) and (0:1)
(3,7) and (-2,2)

hello! :)

Use the slope formula:-


\displaystyle(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)


\displaystyle(1-4)/(0-5)=(-3)/(-5) =(3)/(5)

Second pair:-


\displaystyle(2-7)/(-2-3) =(-5)/(-5) =1

notes:-

If we multiply/divide a negative by a negative, we get a positive. :)
